The Merrow

Unlike the gentle mermaids of fairy tales, The Merrow is a creature of the deep Alantic. This skeletal merman is reconstructed with a haunting, aquatic grace-a physical reminder of the magical truth that allows these being to traverse the tides.  bone sculpture depicts these mysterious beings often appear as green-haired maidens or grotesque mermen and have been central to Irish stories, such as “The Lady of Gollerus”.
