Bone Smoke Demon Sculpture Aillen, the Burner of Tara is inspired by the legendary Aillén Mac Midgna, the fire-breathing spirit of the Tuatha Dé Danann who burned the halls of Tara every Samhain.

The Irish mythical “smoking demon” or fire-breathing figure is often identified as Aillen (or Aillen the Burner) a bone smoke demon sculpture creature from the Tuatha Dé Danann who burned Tara every Samhain. Another entity is the Taibhse, a faceless spirit described as having fire or smoking embers emerging from its mouth and ears.
